EIVA signs contract with new representative Casco Antiguo Oceanografía

8 February 2017

A newly signed representative contract makes Casco Antiguo Oceanografía the local point of contact for maritime professionals in Spain and Portugal interested in the EIVA software and hardware products.

The contract expands on the already existing partnership with Casco Antiguo Oceanografía representing EIVA in Chile.

Casco Antiguo Oceanografía new EIVA representative

We have expanded our representative agreement with Casco Antiguo Oceanografía, a specialist in providing software and hardware for the oceanographic industry. Already a representative in Chile, the company will now also approach the Spanish and Portuguese market with EIVA’s products in its catalogue.

With these two additional markers being placed on the map showing the location of EIVA’s worldwide network of representatives, even more maritime professionals are now ensured a local point of contact. This translates into fast responses from a professional who speaks the local language and knows the ropes of the market you operate in.

‘We have been very happy with the partnership with Casco Antiguo Oceanografía in Chile, and we are confident that they will provide the same high level of service and expertise to our customers in Spain and Portugal,’ said EIVA Global Sales Director Jakob Møller Nielsen.

Taking many years of experience to the oceanographic market

Casco Antiguo Oceanografía is a subsidiary to the Casco Antiguo group, which has many years’ experience in providing diving equipment for commercial use. In 2010, the group expanded its activities to specialise in oceanography and hydrography as well.

For the Spanish and Portuguese market, the company will focus on the oceanographic segment and thus those of EIVA’s products dedicated to this segment, such as the ScanFish Rocio multi-purpose ROTV sensor platformToughBoy wave buoy and relevant bundles of the NaviSuite software. These perfectly supplement Casco Antiguo Oceanografía’s existing product portfolio of subsea sensors.

‘With the distribution agreement between the two companies, Casco Antiguo Oceanografía complements its extensive range of equipment for Spain and Portugal. This agreement with EIVA delivers an important message to our customers that they can find the best products in our portfolio,' said Wenceslao González-Garra Managing Director of Casco Antiguo Oceanografía.
