We are pleased to be welcoming Nav Global Systems into the EIVA representative fleet. The company will represent EIVA in Nigeria and will be distributing the entire suite of EIVA’s hardware, software and training solutions.
Focused on supporting all aspects of the challenges marine professionals face in offshore projects, Nav Global Systems will be serving EIVA’s customers in Nigeria in their search for software and hardware solutions by applying their technical knowledge and industry experience to identify the most optimal solution.
Nigeria is currently the scene of major oil and gas interest and is the largest producer of these resources in Africa*, with the Nigerian government encouraging local content development in what is considered a strategically central sector of the economy**. Nigeria is also undergoing ample infrastructural development involving waterway clearance, reclamation work and other coastal construction and survey projects*.
These schemes are all within the applications of EIVA’s software and hardware, with our dredging solution, NaviSuite Uca, and our navigation and positioning solution, NaviPac, as well as our all-around hydrographic survey bundle – NaviSuite Kuda – being put to good use already in Nigeria.
Daniel E. Osarobo, Managing Director of Nav Global Systems commented: ‘Nav Global Systems is tailored to provide consultancy services to the offshore and shallow water engineering and survey sectors. This new strategic business partnership with EIVA further creates a platform for us to deliver integrated system solutions, more services, as well as expand our growth and relevance particularly in the oil and gas industries in Nigeria’.
Based in Port Harcourt, the operational base of many marine survey-based industries, Nav Global Systems is dedicated to drive new business growth in the region with a sales team of local personnel who possess diversified and comprehensive expertise and experience in the fields of oil & gas, surveying & construction, offshore wind as well as oceanography, thus matching EIVA’s portfolio.
‘With Nigeria’s expanding development and it being the largest oil & gas industry in Africa, we wanted to bring in a new local partner in order to increase the level of support we can provide existing and future customers in the region. Nav Global Systems’ strong market knowledge of the industries that are part of our strategic focus makes it well-placed to promote EIVA’s entire product line. Notably in rental form, both in terms of equipment and software subscriptions, for which the local market has shown demand’, said EIVA Marketing & Sales Director Anne Juul Andreasen.
EIVA is pleased to confirm that EIVA Days Nigeria will take place later this year, where our customers can meet Nav Global Systems jointly with EIVA.
