Key features and benefits
Let software do the eventing work for you
NaviSuite Deep Learning uses video and photos to automatically classify and segment images.
Let software do the eventing work for you
NaviSuite Deep Learning uses video and photos to automatically classify and segment images
This means that the software is able to carry out event generation by itself. Via pixel-by-pixel marking, it will show the location of objects of interest, with more precise information on object location compared to traditional eventing.
You are ensured the same quality throughout the eventing process at a constant speed. Not only will your crew spend far less time on processing and quality control, you will also eliminate the risk of human errors and delays.
The leads to far more efficient operations and better end-results. In addition, the more data a NaviSuite Deep Learning version works its way through, the better it will get in the next release.
Key deep learning features
- Events are automatically generated based on the objects found in the data
- Events can be added in real time or processed in the background on the entire video/image source
- Events identified in consecutive images are grouped as one long event
- The operator can filter which events to see
- The operator can edit/delete events
- Works on any type of video/camera source
NaviSuite Deep Learning integrates with the eventing and video features of NaviModel and NaviPac – and can for example automatically show a detected event (pipe damage) generated in NaviModel

A cloud service hosted by EIVA (included in the annual subscription free of charge).
This saves you the trouble of setting up servers and networks – all you need is an internet connection to get started.
NaviModel Producer and NaviPac utilise the cloud service for classification and pixel-by-pixel segmentation of images and videos. This is typically useful for data processing staff working onshore with good internet connections.
An onboard computer (available as an optiona extra) where the segmentation and classification functionality is running on a small, high-speed computer board suitable for integration into AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle) and USV (unmanned surface vehicle) equipment. This makes it possible to let the AUV/USV change mission based on objects detected via the deep learning software.

Should you wish to apply deep learning features to other types of subsea operations, we would be happy to discuss the possibility of a custom solution.
The software engineers specialised in deep learning would only appreciate trying out the technology on other types of data.
