The course will be held virtually, via Microsoft Teams and will be conducted in Portuguese
Duration and timing
The duration of the course is four days with training of the group taking place from 09.00 - 14.00 UTC-3 and the instructor being available for individual assistance and guidance from 14:30 - 16:00 UTC-3 while participants solve the exercises that are given during the morning session
The instructor will invite the participants to a half-hour pre-training meeting prior to the start of the course to ensure that all participants are aligned on the process, have met the eLearning requirements and have the software correctly installed and activated
Entry requirement
Attendance at the NaviSuite learning training courses presupposes that participants have passed the required EIVA eLearning modules (with a score of 80% in the quizzes) prior to the start of the course.

Day 1-4: NaviPac Pro
Learning objectives
- Set up survey sensors during a vessel mobilization using NaviPac
- Navigate, monitor and log sensor data from survey operation with a vessel and subsea navigation objects (rov/auv) using Helmsman Display.
- Integrate and manage a complete workflow from start to finish.
- Walk through multiple real world simulated scenarios — from project planning with waypoints and line planning, to adding new instruments, logging different types of data, and understanding the georeferenced situational awareness of the survey operation in a 2D/3D environment provided by NaviSuite.
The course material is delivered by a guided walkthrough of processes and concepts with your instructor, followed by a hands-on exercise supported with an interactive Q&A session.

Target group
The course is an entry level blended training for people who would like to start as Online Surveyors and NaviPac operators, who wish to be able to configure NaviPac in preparation for survey jobs. Experienced surveyors are also welcome as to review and reassure their knowledge and possibly experience learning new tools.
Certificate
An EIVA NaviSuite training certificate is issued to each trainee upon completion of the course
Access to NaviSuite
EIVA NaviSuite can be downloaded from our website for preparation purposes and can partially run in demo/simulation mode. Activation codes for full access and activation of the relevant NaviSuite software is provided for 30 days as part of the course
Technical information
The participant must have a stable internet connection to run Microsoft Teams smoothly
- Minimum PC specifications:
- OS Windows PRO Edition 10 or 11
- 8 GB Ram as a minimum
- 20 GB disk space
- Graphics board 1GB Ram
- The user must have administrative rights over the PC
- Other requirements:
- A mouse with scroll function
- A headset
- 2 x monitors (one to view the training and one to perform the tasks)
- Internet connection via LAN is recommended to avoid fluctuations in the connection
- A webcam for optimal interaction with the instructor and the other participants

Registration, payment, and course confirmation
Registration for instructor‑led training courses closes 5 days prior to the course start date
Your seat is secured once payment has been received. Our open training courses have a maximum of 8 participants, and registrations are confirmed on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Payment for open courses must be completed by credit card via the EIVA webshop, as only prepaid orders are accepted
Please note that all courses are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not reached. EIVA reserves the right to cancel a course if fewer than four participants are registered. In the event of a cancellation, all registered participants will be notified shortly after the registration deadline.
