What is EIVA NaviSuite eLearning?
The EIVA NaviSuite eLearning site offers you access to a number of training modules covering various aspects of the NaviSuite features and applications, regardless of the time of day and where you are via an annual subscription.
Can I take the modules as many times as I want to?
Yes, the value of the annual subscription lies in being able to refresh the knowledge on specific topics when needed as well as staying up to date with new releases from EIVA.
Can I use the eLearning site when I’m not connected to the internet?
No, the solution is web-based.
Can I visit the eLearning site any time of the day, 365 days a year?
Yes, and you can do so right away. The sign-up is automatic – there are no people in the loop.
Can I get help?
The EIVA support team are able to assist with technical problems with the eLearning site – but are not online instructors.
Can I share the eLearning subscription with someone else?
No, the eLearning subscription is personal, and EIVA reserves the right to enforce measures to prevent sharing. In case of suspicion of misuse of an account, it will be closed for future access.
Do I need to have NaviSuite installed on my computer to run EIVA eLearning?
No, it is not necessary to have NaviSuite installed in order to use EIVA eLearning. All you need is internet access.
What happens if I don't renew my annual subscription?
Your access to the eLearning site is valid for 12 months. If you do not renew your subscription, the login will be closed and any progress/certificates are deleted.
How are the modules categorised?
Essentials modules are the entry-level eLearning module for each software solution/module/task (ie the first eLearning module you take on a subject). The essentials modules have been made to give a good, solid introduction to and coverage of the software solution/module/task in question but may omit going into detail on some or all topics. The essentials modules neither require any prior knowledge of the solution/module/task in question nor a deep survey background; they only require a general understanding of the domain and usage of the software in question. Having completed the eLearning module, you will have a good understanding of what a given software solution/module can do or how a task can be performed, and you will know how to find the features you need in the software. You will not become an experienced user, but you will be able to start using the software solution/module or performing the task in question.
Advanced modules are in-depth eLearning modules that build on one or more of the essentials eLearning modules and so require that you have previously taken the relevant essentials module(s). Advanced modules are typically used to provide more examples, more theory, different techniques or detailed feature explanations beyond that which is found in the essentials modules.
When EIVA issues a new software release (eg NaviModel 4.0 to 4.1), our ambition is to both update relevant existing eLearning modules for the specific software solution/module and provide an Update eLearning module that just focuses on what is new. Update modules do not explain the full software solution/module/task in depth, so they should not be taken without prior knowledge of the solution/module/task in question.
Which is best – eLearning or EIVA’s classroom courses?
The eLearning site is a work-in-progress, with new modules being added on an ongoing basis. At the moment, it does not cover the same width and detail as our current classroom courses, but we are continually working on creating more content – with a long list of modules to be implemented in the future. See a complete list of all released modules.
Consequently, the eLearning site is not a substitute for the full-length classroom courses, but rather a supplement providing an understanding of the NaviSuite products and keeping you up to date on new releases and products. Once the eLearning site is fully expanded, the classroom course curriculum will be amended to give a more in-depth learning experience for specialists, as the classroom courses are run by EIVA’s top product experts and thus give a unique chance to learn advanced topics and asking very detailed questions – which is not possible via the eLearning site. Therefore, we recommend taking the eLearning modules prior to the classroom courses to get the most out of these – both in the current setup as well as when the eLearning site is fully expanded.
Why can’t I just attend a webinar instead?
The EIVA webinars are short sessions aimed at giving a brief introduction to new features, solutions and releases. This means that the level of knowledge gained during a webinar does not match that of the eLearning modules or classroom training courses.
Will eLearning replace the current documentation site?
Documentation and eLearning are to be seen as a two separate things. At the moment, we are working on transforming our documentation site into a wiki-like site, so the documentation will be even more accessible than it has been. Just like our classroom courses will be redefined in connection with the introduction of our eLearning modules, so will the documentation (eg more advanced tutorials will not be maintained, as these will be part of the advanced eLearning modules, and the documentation site will going forward consist of reference manuals, short how-tos and FAQs).

The sliders don't work, what do I do?

What is the minimum number of accounts that qualify for a corporate discount?
At least four users must be signed up to qualify for the corporate account discount.
Is there a limit on accounts for a corporate discount?
No, there is no limit. A corporate account team can include an unlimited number of eLearners.
Is the corporate discount good on both purchase and renewal?
Yes, the corporate discount is good on both purchase and renewal; the discount continues to be applied as long as the accounts are active.
Who can see the dashboards and reporting for my team?
One or more team members can be appointed team leader, thereby being able to monitor the progress/module scores of all team members.
What kind of reporting can we see?
You can view both ready-made reports concerning courses, module reports, scores and participation, or you can create your own reports to meet your own specifications, provided the information desired is tracked by eLearning.
Why do corporate accounts qualify for a discount, but general accounts do not?
We are able to offer a discount to corporate accounts since the team will themselves handle their administration, and since we can collect all payments on one invoice. Since these actions are not possible for personal accounts, the discount is only good for corporate accounts of four or more team members.
Printing certificate and fixing sliders
Why do I need to enable Flash (Adobe Flash Player)?
Flash is currently necessary in order to view the interactive elements in EIVA eLearning (such as sliders) and to allow the printing of certificates.
Most major browsers have decided to block Flash by default because it may pose a security risk to allow Flash to run on any site. However, as long as you only allow Flash to run on trusted sites, it should be harmless. In order to access the full content, you will need to enable Flash on these sites.
EIVA eLearning runs on a Learning Management System created by Litmos. Litmos recommends the use of the following browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Firefox 2+
- Safari on Mac 1.2+
- Internet Explorer 8+
Here, we will provide you with a guide on how to enable Flash in various browsers.
Go to chrome://settings/content/flash (insert into browser)
Now enable ‘Allow sites to run Flash’ and ‘Ask first’ (ask First is not a requirement, but a safety feature)
Now click ‘ADD’ to whitelist/allow flash and type: https://eiva.litmos.com
Afterwards, it should look like this
- Make sure the slider says 'On'
- Make sure ‘Adobe Flash Player’ is enabled
- Now allow Flash on eiva.litmos.com like this
- Refresh the page (F5)
Internet Explorer 11 was tested on Windows 10 and worked without having to update the Flash settings. As long as Flash Player is installed there is no need to do anything.
