Defence mine hunting & UXO

EIVA delivers a range of different Mine Counter Measure (MCM) and unexploded ammunition detection and removal (UXO) solutions for defence customers world-wide. Depending on level of ambition, we recommend different types of systems.

• Towed Sonar. A towed sonar offers the simplest and lowest cost MCM/UXO detection solution. EIVA has a track record in delivering full systems with Side Scan Sonar, Cable & Winch, Top side system, installation, service etc.

• ROTV solution. An ROTV based system increases the usage of the towed sonar. The ROTV adds a very powerful “follow seabed” capability, Inertia Navigation System based positioning of the sonar, real time scan data processing, and extra flexibility in choice of sensors. The ROTV based solution offers flexibility, affordability and superior speed of operation

• AUV solution. An AUV offers great mission flexibility in narrow & confined waters, but lower speed of operation and higher cost. EIVA has delivered AUV based MCM systems to several nations
